Acquire Moped Driver's License

You must be 14 years old.

Prepare optimally for the theory test with iTheorie Moped. You'll learn the category M question catalog, which is similar to the car category but simplified.

Register at the road traffic office of your canton of residence for the test.

Required documents:

• Valid ID (passport or ID card)
• Eye test (not older than 2 years, from a recognized optician)
• 1 passport photo
• Completed application form for the learner's permit

The theory test is conducted on a computer at the road traffic office. You'll answer questions about traffic law and road safety.

After passing the theory test, you'll receive the category M driving license, which allows you to ride a moped.

For category M, no practical test (driving test) is required.
For category M, no first aid course is required.
Category M allows riding mopeds up to 30 km/h.
